Beijing Capital International Airport is located in Beijing, China, and is Air China’s main hub. The airport is the area’s main International and the world’s second busiest airport.
The airport has three terminals with inter-terminal shuttles between the terminals. The airport features a number of services which includes ATM machines, wireless networks, travel assistants, business centres, a fitness centre, baby changing stations, a currency exchange, postal boxes, lost and found, first aid stations, exhibits, airport lounges, and large waiting rooms. Flyers also enjoy a number of cultural events which include Appreciating Scenery and Feeding Fish, in which flyers are given fish food to feed fish in two, beautifully landscaped gardens. The Art Troupe Performance, which features magic tricks, dancing and singing performed by airport staff. The Cultural Getaway, which, features dancing and singing performances as well as performances on Christmas Day and performances on New Year’s Day. Aside from the wonderful cultural events, flyers also enjoy a number of shopping and dining venues. Among the food and specialty shops flyers will enjoy a fruit store, a chocolate store, a tea house, a number of Chinese restaurants and fast foods, plus Western Food and cafes. There are also a number of lounges and bars where flyers can enjoy a beverage while watching a sports game, or enjoying the ambience of an elegant setting.
Shops include a variety of shopping experiences including Duty Free Shops which offer tobacco, alcohol, and jewellery, newsstands are on site with a number of newspapers, magazines and books, and various other shopping venues that include apparel, accessories, sunglasses, and more. The airport is beautiful with many wonderful outlets, friendly people and large waiting lounges where flyers are able to relax while they wait for their flight. The climate controlled temperature system makes the airport comfortable while you wait for your flight.
Airport Parking and Transfers
Beijing International Airport features a parking garage located south of Terminal 3. The garage features 3,300 car park spaces. The airport features both hourly, short term and long term parking, as well as, spaces available for disabled drivers. Another garage is located south of Terminal 1 and features 600 parking spaces, and offers short term, hourly, overnight, and disabled parking. The last parking garage is located in front of Terminal 2 and features 4,282 parking spaces.
