Denver International Airport is located in northeast Denver, Colorado and is the largest airport in the US by total area. The airport is the 11th busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic handling 52,699,298 passengers.

Commuter carrier, Great Lake Airlines, and low-cost carrier, Frontier Airlines, utilizes Denver International Airport as a main hub. The airport is the fourth largest hub for United Airlines and Southwest Airline utilizes the airport as a focus city.

Denver International Airport has two terminals and three concourses and six runways. Facilities within the airport include the Interfaith Chapel and Islamic Prayer Hall, passenger train, United Services Organization, smoking lounges, pet relief area, and restrooms. The airport also features a 45 minute waiting area where guests can wait for an arriving passenger at no charge. The airport also features special parking spaces for the special need individuals; a disabled card must be visible within the vehicle.

The airport features numerous ground transportation options and a Ground Transportation Information Counter that is located in the central area on Level 5 of Jeppesen Terminal. Among the options include rental cars, mountain carriers, commuter shuttles, luxury limos, taxis, hotel shuttles, public transportation, and charter buses.
