Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is located in Guangshou, China and is the area’s main airport. China Southern Airlines utilizes the airport as its main hub and Hainan Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines utilizes the airport as its focus city. The airport is China’s second busiest and the 19th busiest airport in the world in terms of passenger traffic. The airport can handle 31 million passengers each year.
Guangzhou Airport has one main terminal and two runways. The terminal is separated into two areas, A and B and is roughly 370 thousand square meters and stands four stories high. The second floor is arrivals, the third floor is departures, and the first floor is the arrivals hall. In the Domestic Hall, there are 144 check-in counters at six check-in islands. The International Departure Hal features four check-in islands and 102 check-in counters.
