Tokyo International Airport
Tokyo International Airport, also known as, Haneda Airport, is located in Ota Tokyo. The airport serves Japan’s Greater Tokyo area. The airport is the world’s third busiest city airport system, and Asia’s second busiest airport. In 2010, the airport handled 64,211,074 passengers. The airport first opened in 1931 and has since expanded to be one of the busiest airports in Asia. Haneda International Airport is a modern airport that caters to travellers of all needs, which include those travelling with disabilities and flyers travelling with children. It is a beautiful airport that offers a variety of things to do while travellers wait for their flight to depart to ensure an optimal travelling experience for travellers.
Haneda Airport features two domestic terminals and one International terminal and a number of facilities, amenities and services to cater to each traveller’s needs. Within the airport, travellers have access to ATMs, a post office, currency exchange, baggage storage, a medical and dental clinic a barber shop and salon, charging stations and wireless Internet. Pay lounges are also available within the airport as well as restaurants and retail shops. The airport also features an onsite hotel that offers travellers a place to rest while they wait for the departure of their flight. The International terminal is currently under expansion which is projected to be complete in March 2014. The expansion will include a hotel inside the terminal, new aircraft parking spots, new 8 gate pier, an adjacent apron, and expanded baggage claim, customs / quarantine / immigration, and check-in areas. Travellers also enjoy a number of art exhibits and privileges for business and first class flyers.
A number of airlines fly in and out of the Haneda Airport which includes Chia, America Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, EVA Air, Japan Airlines Korean Air and many other airlines connecting travellers to both domestic and International destinations.
Private Aircrafts are allowed to fly in and out of the airport and the airport features a special VIP terminal and a parking spot for two private aircrafts.

Parking at Haneda Airport offers a variety of options. Users of the car park can choose from short term parking, long term parking and for those with disabilities, especially reserved spaces and handicapped spaces are available.
Ground transportation from the airport includes trains, buses, a free terminal shuttle bus, car rentals, taxis, and limos.
