Indira Gandhi International Airport is located in Delhi, India and is the main International airport for the region. The airport is India’s busiest airport and has a capacity to handle 46 million passengers. The airport is spread over 5016 land acres and is the eighth largest airport in the world for size, and the main civilian aviation hub for India’s National Capital Region. The airport handles over half of India’s air traffic. The airport features a state of the art category IIIA landing system which makes the airport operational even in dense, foggy weather.

The airport has two terminals in use and two runways.
