Tokyo International Airport

Tokyo International Airport is located in Ota, Tokyo, and one of two main airports that offer service to the Greater Tokyo Area in Japan. In 2010, the airport served 64,211,074 passengers. The airport is Asia’s second busiest airport and the world’s fifth busiest airport. The airport is open 24 hours a day.

All Nippon Airways, and Japan Airlines, domestic airlines, utilize the airport as a primary base. Many low cost carriers such as StarFlyer Skynet Asia Airways, Skymark Airlines, and Hokkaido International Airlines as well as many other airlines from various parts of the world. 

The airport features three terminals. Terminal 1 and 2, the airport’s main terminals, are connected by an underground walkway. An airport shuttle bus, that is at no charge to airport patrons, runs between the smaller International Terminal and the main terminals. The airport has a pleasant and convenient atmosphere with wonderful hospitality. Flyers enjoy a range of services which include phone rentals, currency exchanges, charging stations, postal boxes, baby changing facilities, luggage delivery, as well as shopping and eating amenities.

Shops include convenience stores, character item shops, apparel, miscellaneous goods and small articles, medicine and travel goods, as well as books and newspapers. Eating establishments feature Japanese food, Chinese food, European food, cafes and snacks as well as a variety of other types of cuisines. The airport is a comfortable airport with a friendly atmosphere and is climate controlled to ensure its comfort.

Tokyo International Airport features both short term and long term parking facilities in each terminal. Each car park has spaces available for users with disabilities.
