Start your trip by checking out the view of the whole city. See just how fantastic the landscape of Santiago is at the top of Cerro San Cristobal, Cerro Santa Lucia, and Sky Costanera. If you want to have a bite with panoramic views of Santiago, stop by Giratorio too.
Are you a history buff? Find out how the city has become what is today and go on a culture run at the Museo Historico Nacional, Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino, and the Palacio de la Real Audiencia de Santiago. The museums themselves will give you great photo ops.
Romantic travellers and literature fanatics will love going to one of the three museums of Pablo Neruda, Chile’s beloved poet, right here in Santiago. La Chascona is decorated with an incredible collection of the poet’s belongings from all over the world, including his Nobel Prize.
If you want more photos of your trip, and great memories of course, include Santiago’s beautiful icons. There’s the home of Chile’s president at Palacio de La Moneda, Parroquia de Santa Filomena, and Santiago Metropolitan Cathedral.
Are you a fan of sports? Take the metro to catch Chilean football teams in action at a match. You can also participate in your own sport and go skiing or snowboarding at Valle Nevado, El Colorado, and La Parva.
