Things to do in Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur, or KL for short, is the largest and capital city of Malaysia. It’s a bustling town with impressive skyscrapers, rich culture, and has still kept its natural wonders despite being a modern city. You’ll never be bored of Kuala Lumpur.
Take the KL hop-on hop-off bus (HOHO) and start touring the city. Start your KL adventure and see the city’s famous twins. The Petronas Towers are a sight itself, but you’ll love the view of Kuala Lumpur from its SkyBridge and Observation Deck. If you want more views like this, check out the observation deck of KL Tower too.
You’ll experience Kuala Lumpur’s diverse culture best by visiting the museums and landmarks. Ride the HOHO again to the National Museum, Islamic Arts Museum, National Visual Art Gallery, National Palace, and Palace of Culture.
Go on a temple run in KL and stop by the Sri Mahamariamman Temple, Jamek Mosque, and the National Mosque. Feel the influence of other cultures and visit Chinatown and Little India for photo ops, awesome souvenirs and food stalls. Are you a certified foodie? Then a trip to Jalan Alor is a must.
Do you want to see the natural side of the city? There’s plenty to choose from! Visit the Lake Gardens, KL Bird Park, Orchid and Hibiscus Garden, and Butterfly Park. But the biggest experience from nature that you can only get in Kuala Lumpur is Batu Caves.
The perfect end to your time in KL is by seeing the Petronas Towers light up at night. It’s a sight (and photo op) you absolutely can’t miss.
