Things to do in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is the largest city of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and it’s one of the most modern cities in the world. It’s filled with large gardens and parks as well as green boulevards, along with chic buildings, opulent hotels and shopping centres. Some of these beautiful destinations were even featured in the second Sex and the City movie. So if you’re looking for a city that will dazzle you, Abu Dhabi is your perfect destination.
When in Abu Dhabi, you have to take the bus and visit the grand Sheikh Zayed Mosque. This ivory white masterpiece is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and is the eight largest mosques in the world. It will make your jaw drop for sure.
Bring your camera to Qasr al-Hosn next and take pictures of the oldest stone building in Abu Dhabi. Find a piece of oasis in the city’s spectacular waterfront at Corniche or have a getaway at the luxurious sandy beaches of Yas Island.
The island is also home to the Yas Waterworld water park, where you can have a splashing good time with your family. Are you a fan of cars? You’ll love going to Ferrari World. Then get your fill of vintage cars and more at Emirates National Auto Museum.
Of course, you have to go shopping Abu Dhabi. Take your pick from its shopping centres like Abu Dhabi Mall, Marina Mall, and the massive Yas Mall. End your trip on a high note, in more ways than one, by visiting the Observation Deck at 300 for the best views of the entire city of Abu Dhabi.
